Todos & Kanban
Pia includes a built-in task manager with a full Kanban board and a quick-access side panel.
Overview
Section titled “Overview”The Todo feature has two views:
- Side Panel — a collapsible panel showing your pending todos from the default column, with a progress bar.
- Full-Screen Kanban Board — a column-based board for organizing tasks across workflow stages.
Creating Todos
Section titled “Creating Todos”Type a task title in the input field at the top of the panel or board and press Enter. You can also use the microphone button next to the input to dictate a task via voice input.
New todos appear at the bottom of the default column.
Kanban Board
Section titled “Kanban Board”The board displays your todos as cards organized into columns. Each card shows its title and a priority indicator on the left border:

Drag and Drop
Section titled “Drag and Drop”Grab a card by its drag handle (the six-dot icon that appears on hover) to:
- Reorder within a column
- Move between columns
Sort order is preserved and synced across devices.
Column Management
Section titled “Column Management”- Add Column — click the + button to create a new column.
- Rename — click the column title to edit it.
- Delete — remove an empty column via its context menu.
- Default View — set a column as the default so its items appear in the side panel.
- Closed Column — designate a column for completed tasks.
Completing Todos
Section titled “Completing Todos”Check the checkbox on a todo to mark it as done. A strikethrough animation plays and the item fades into the closed column. Uncheck to reopen it.
Cloud Sync
Section titled “Cloud Sync”Todo items, their sort order, and column assignments sync automatically when Cloud Sync is enabled. With E2E encryption on Pro plans, your task data is encrypted before upload.
